Other Uses : Physic nut yields oil.Herbal healers use that oil for making medicines for treatment of many diseases. The leaves of Physic nut is useful for treatment of rheumatic pain, constipation, and night blindness. Young leaves fried with ghee may be served for treatment of diseases. In addition the leaves are useful for treatment of impaired urination. The oil of physic nut is effective for treatment of many diseases including the following : Rheumatic pain - The oil may be applied gently on the affected parts of body. Constipation- 2 to 4 tea spoonful of root extract to be taken in the morning and evening.Colic pain -Extract of 5 grams of young leaves boiled with a glass of water will be served for treatment of colic pain. Night blindness - 10 to12 grams of young leaves fried with ghee will be served in the lunch for treatment of night blindness. Impaired urination - Root extract of 15 to 20 grams boiled with a glass of water will be served in the evening for regulating urination.
